The Art of Employment Program -- Incorporating talents and dreams into careers!

The Art of Employment program is a revolutionary new approach in education, career development and personal assessment.  This interactively designed program helps students learn, through self-discovery, their natural talents, creativity, and career dreams.  This newly gained insight is the foundation to successful careers in the future.

Students will begin taking a proactive approach to their education as they realize and pursue the reality of their career dreams.  This program provides each student the support mechanism and techniques needed to take action to achieve their dreams and goals.  CDEF certified facilitators lead Action Group meetings that help students continue to develop clarity in recognizing and understanding their own talents and career dreams.  These regularly scheduled sessions provide the necessary support and motivation to take action towards their personal education that will lead to success.  Each participant grows through enthusiasm, momentum, self-respect, and confidence towards attaining the job of his or her dreams.

Program Objectives

Students will:

• Gain the understanding of their natural talents, passions, creativity, and dreams.

• Develop the motivation and inspiration to take personal responsibility for their own education.

• Learn the techniques and develop the confidence to take action.

• Develop short-term and long-term career planning.

• Thirty-minute (30) facilitated interview.
